iWoman

iWoman was an experimental online exhibition which documented the metamorphic ipod, iWoman, as a paradoxical response to Apple's domination over the world, and our own transformation into humanized technology. It was also about reaching a worldwide audience as opposed to exhibiting in some back alley gallery in Dublin. If music could reach everyone, then so too could art. Gone were the days of postcards showcasing the latest works of contemporary artists. One had to reach into another world to get seen. It began in the golden years of Apple, when there was a greater emphasis on aesthetic and became an obsessive journey with documenting the world through a basic model, with each work having a unique nuance reflecting the very notion of existentialism and the subsequent evolution into AI.
